In recognition of his outstanding service and commitment to his department and community, he was named Officer of the Year in 2024.

Officer Fields holds multiple specialized certifications, including Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), Motor Officer, Evidence Technician, and Certified Instructor. His broad skill set allows him to contribute effectively across operational, investigative, and training roles within the department.

Currently, Officer Fields serves in his department’s Traffic Unit, where he focuses on traffic enforcement, collision investigations, impaired driving detection, and roadway safety initiatives.
