Kathy Guider leads the Training Division and coordinates the training programs provided by Veracity IIR. She also oversees investigations, human resources and most administrative functions.

Guider is a former Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent of the FBI. For more than 23 years, she served in the Indianapolis Division where she conducted drug, terrorism and white collar crime investigations. Guider also served as an operator with the Indianapolis Special Operations Group and later became the Team Leader which engaged in covert missions and surveillance to support high priority investigations nationwide.

She was the Supervisor of the Indianapolis Human Intelligence (HUMiNT) squad responsible for developing human intelligence sources to fill collection gaps regarding counter-terrorism, counter-intelligence and high priority criminal matters. She retired as both the Indianapolis Division’s Office of Private Sector Coordinator and InfraGard Coordinator which serve as a bridge between the Bureau and local industry to facilitate cooperation, communication, and education regarding a variety of potential threats to their respective industries.

Guider is a Certified Police Instructor. She teaches courses in many areas including Interview and Interrogation, Instructor Development, Hate Crimes, Insider Threat and Statement Analysis locally, nationally and abroad. She has been a member of the FBI’s Evidence Response Team (ERT) for the past 20 years.

Guider is a 1986 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, Kentucky, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Police Administration, and in 1991, received a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She spent nine years with the Lexington Kentucky Police Department achieving the rank of Sergeant prior to leaving to pursue aspirations at the federal level of law enforcement.
